Easy peasy recipe suitable when you’re in a rush but need a filling meal.
Ingredients:
- 200 grams of minced beef
- 2 knobs of butter
- Half carrot (diced)
- Half zuchinni (diced)
- 2 potatoes
- 2 tablespoon of cooking cream.
- A dash of taco seasoning, garlic salt, vegetable stock powder, paprika powder, cayenne powder, grated cheese and salt.
Instructions:
How to prepare the mash:

- In a pot of boiling water, cook the potatoes up to 15 minutes.
- Drain the water when the potatoes are done and add 1 knob of butter, a dash of salt and 2 tablespoon of cooking cream. Mash them well.
How to make the Shepherd’s pie:


- In a cooking pan with olive oil over high heat, cook the carrots and zucchini for 8 minutes until they’re nearly cooked through, then transfer them to another bowl and set aside.
- In the same cooking pad, top up a little olive oil before start adding the minced beef. Season it with taco seasoning, garlic salt and some vegetable stock. The amount of seasoning is according to your preference.
- When the beef is nearly cooked, return the vegetables to the pan and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- While waiting for the beef and vegetables to be done, preheat the oven to the grill setting.


- In a medium baking tray, layer the minced beef and vegetables, then spread the mashed potatoes over the top. Sprinkle with as much cheese as you like then place the tray in the oven. Grill for 5 minutes, or until the cheese melts and turns golden.


This is up to how you feel, sprinke some chopped parsley leave to add some color if you’d like.
