If you want a fun simple recipe, this spaghetti carbonara recipe can be your next to-do list! Realistically you only need 4 ingredients if you leave out the optional ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 150 gram guanciale (diced)
- 4 egg yolk
- Grated parmigiano cheese (amount is per your preference)
- Parsley (optional)
- Chili flakes (optional)
- Pasta
How to cook spaghetti carbonara:


- Cook the pasta and fry off the guanciale to crispy. Save the guanciale fats on the side.
- Whisk the yolk with grated parmigiano in a mixing bowl before slowly adding in the guanciale fats.
- Add the pasta with a little of the pasta water and stir through the crispy guanciale.

Sprinkle some chili flakes and parsley if you want a little extra spice!
