Chinese Steam Fish

Simple clean recipe if you want a nutritious meal without needing too much time to prep.

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of fresh white fish (barramundi)
  • 2 chopped spring onion
  • 4 slices of chop garlic
  • 2 teaspoon of sugar
  • 2 teaspoon of light soy sauce
  • A pinch of salt + MSG
  • 2 tablespoon of heated vegetable oil

How to make steam fish:

  • Steam your fish in a pot for 8 to 10 minutes (depends on the thickness of the fish)
  • In a small bowl, add light soy sauce, sugar, MSG, salt and 4 teaspoon of hot water.
  • Heat up the cooking oil while waiting for fish to be done.
  • Pour the seasoned sauce all over the steam fish and place ginger and spring onion on the fish.
  • To finish, pour some hot oil sizzle to the fish.

Once it’s done, you can have this with rice and some vege on the side.
