Bell pepper stuffed pork/chicken mince

Simple Asian meal that is a little lower carb and higher protein.

Ingredients:

  • Bell pepper/ Capsicum
  • Minced pork or chicken
  • Asian soy sauce
  • White pepper
  • Salt
  • 1 egg white
  • A dash of potato/ corn starch
  • A dash of MSG
  • A dash of five spice powder
  • Some chopped spring onion

How to prep and cook:

  • Mix soy sauce, corn/ potato starch, MSG, white pepper, salt, five spice powder and spring onion to your minced pork/ chicken.
  • Cut the bell pepper/ capsicum in half and fill them up with your minced pork/ chicken.
  • Heat up the pan with olive oil under medium heat before putting your bell pepper (with the filling facing on the pan) to your pan. Flip it around along the way to make sure your bell pepper and mince meat are evenly cook. This can take about 7 minutes each side.

You can add rice or some veges on the side to pair it with your bell pepper with minced meat filling.
