Chicken soup connects to your soul when you’re ill or when the cold is unbearable during winter seasons.
What do you need in your kitchen:
- 4 piece of chickens thighs
- Half onion (diced)
- 3 cloves of garlic (minced)
- Cooking oil
- Salt
- 2 carrots (diced)
- 2 celery (diced)
- Half shallots
- Some thyme leafs
How to prep and cook:

- Medium high heat with some cooking oil in your pot and brown your chickens. Make sure both sides of your chickens are cooked.
- Once your chickens are almost well-down, add in diced celery and carrots.
- Give everything a stir then add in onion, shallots, thyme leaves, and garlic.


- Add in hot water and reduced your heat to medium.
- Add salt and pepper to taste and leave your pot partially cover for 40 minutes.
- After 40 minutes, take out your chicken and shred them before adding them back to the pot.

Now voila, you’re ready to serve your hearty chicken soup!
