Hearty Chicken Soup

Chicken soup connects to your soul when you’re ill or when the cold is unbearable during winter seasons.

What do you need in your kitchen:

  • 4 piece of chickens thighs
  • Half onion (diced)
  • 3 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • Cooking oil
  • Salt
  • 2 carrots (diced)
  • 2 celery (diced)
  • Half shallots
  • Some thyme leafs

How to prep and cook:

  • Medium high heat with some cooking oil in your pot and brown your chickens. Make sure both sides of your chickens are cooked.
  • Once your chickens are almost well-down, add in diced celery and carrots.
  • Give everything a stir then add in onion, shallots, thyme leaves, and garlic.
  • Add in hot water and reduced your heat to medium.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste and leave your pot partially cover for 40 minutes.
  • After 40 minutes, take out your chicken and shred them before adding them back to the pot.

Now voila, you’re ready to serve your hearty chicken soup!
