Cream stew is a nice creamy and hearty thick soup that’s suitable during a cold winter.
Ingredients:

- 2 diced chicken thighs/breast
- 3 chopped button mushrooms
- 1 diced potato
- 1 cut broccoli (into small chunks)
- 1 box of cream stew powder roux
- 1 chopped carrot
- Half diced brown onion
How to make cream stew step by step:

- Heat the olive oil and butter in a deep stew pot over medium-high heat and sauté both the onion and mushroom till it’s slightly brown (not too brown).
- Then, saute the chicken with salt and pepper until the chicken cubes are brown.

- Pour in 800 ml of water while adding in the cream stew powder roux.
- Then, slowly add in all the chopped carrots, potatoes cubes, and broccoli.
- Add in 1 ladle of fresh milk and stir it evenly.
- Once you’re done stirring the pot of cream stew, turn down the fire to low heat and let it boil for 15 – 20 minutes.
With the cream stew, you can consume the stew by itself or pour the stew on top of your steam white rice.
