Sake Don — Salmon Sashimi layering on top of sushi rice. I’d say it’s a good meal to have during lunch or dinner time at a 22C weather. All you need are cooked sushi rice, sushi vinegar, salmon sashimi (I prefer to get this in the Japanese grocery stores), Nori (seaweed), Ikura (salmon roe) avocado, green onion, and wasabi.

- Pack one bowl of cooked sushi rice, sprinkle some salt, sugar, and half a tablespoon of sushi vinegar.
- Stir the mixture evenly.

- With a sharp knife, slice the sashimi about 1/4″ thick.

- Once you’re done, layer the sliced sashimi based on your preferences and decorate the topping with Ikura, avocado, nori, and green onion. It’s not mandatory to have these ingredients in your Salmon Don, so feel free to be creative!

End Product — It’d be wonderful if you pair the sake don with miso soup. Pour some soy sauce in a tiny dish and add some wasabi (if you’re okay with wasabi).
